Name: Jeffrey William Bahnson
Age: 15
Hometown: Newark Delaware
Current Occupation(s): Student and racer
How many years have you been racing?
About 8 years
Where did you first learn to ride your bike?
On a bike path in Bedford MA
Where is your favorite place to ride?
My favorite place to ride would have to be middle run and white clay. The trails are so fast, so tight, so twisty, and so much fun.
Your favorite aspect of the sport?
Its just so much fun. You get to ride so many different trails and meet a bunch of really cool people. It never gets old.
What is your stongest talent?
I live for the tight, twisty, fast single tack.
It's what I ride most of the time and where I do best.
What is your favorite win/achievement?
My favorite achievement would have to be the Kansas city nationals of 2007. The course had mud and ice and snow and it was amazing, I came into the race with no idea of what my competition would be like and I was able to win it. Everything went right in that race my legs felt great, i managed to stay up most of the time, and had no mechanicals.
What is your goal in this sport?
I'm not really sure what my goal is in this sport. All I know is that I want to ride fast and not burn out and keep racing as long as I can.
Most essential pre-race gear?
You always have to eat some cookies or brownies or something good like that, it's the only way to go.
Other activities:
Biking takes up most of my time but I also play some football with the neighborhood kids, hang out with my friends, run, ski, and I can still unicycle a little.
Worst job ever?
I have never had a real job.
Favorite TV show?
Family Guy by far
